County of Warwick Archery Association
Affiliated to West Midlands Archery Association and Grand National Archery Society

On behalf of the County of Warwick Archery Association, welcome to the CWAA Web site. We hope you will find something of interest as you browse through these pages.
Archery is a very important sporting activity in the County, and has been so for many years. Warwickshire clubs, some of which are among the oldest in the country, are credited with having staged some of the nations most popular and best run tournaments. Even more impressively, the County can proudly proclaim to have produced, and is still producing, many of the nation's top archers.
The main purpose of this site is to act as an important communication facility for county clubs and their members. However, we would also be delighted to hear from anyone else who wishes to add their contributions or make enquiries about joining or taking part in Warwickshire's annual archery activities.

We now have a brand new page specifically set up to provide information for and about our new Junior Squad. This is open to all Warwickshire junior archers and the first meeting is at Meriden on 21st April. For more information see the Junior Squad page.
John Taylor Stands Down
John Taylor, pictured here on the left, was presented with a decanter and set of tumblers by the chairman, Denis Folkard, at the recent AGM when he stood down after nine years as President of CWAA.
John has given many years of tireless service to the world of archery, not only shooting but also coaching and judging. He has also been president of his local club, Coventry, as well as Warwickshire County and also the West Midlands Archery Society.
We wish him all the best for the future.
