CWAA County records are maintained by the County Records Officer. From 1st August 2025 County Records can be claimed for 50+ and all juniors age categories.

The County Records Officer will acknowledge receipt of the claim, issue a Certificate (if requested), and update the records on the County website each quarter once they have been ratified by the committee.

Here are some pointers when claiming records:-

• Records can be claimed only by members of Warwickshire Archery Association.
• Records must only be claimed for the Age Category that the archer has entered as.
• Records need to be claimed within 6 weeks of the shoot taking place.
  Records cannot be claimed retrospectively
• Records must be shot at ‘open’ shoots. Closed/Invitational shoots will not be accepted.
• Competitions must also have a Judge or Field Captain
• More than 1 record can be taken in a single day. For example for any WA1440 you could claim  7 records: the round itself, the long metric, short metric and all four individual distances.
• On Imperial distances (York, Hereford, Bristol’s) you can also claim for the corresponding National round (a picture of the score sheet MUST be supplied for the record to be ratified)
• When claiming you must include a CWAA Record Claim form ( CWAA Record Claim Form), the results sheet and a picture of the applicable score sheet. The score sheet is helpful should any tie breaks happen.
• A website link may be used; however it is the responsibility of the Archer claiming the record to supply this. The Records Officer will not search for results not included.
• All records can be claimed via Email or Post as long as all relevant information is included
• Records claims should be emailed to cwaa.records@outlook.com
