Warwickshire County Tournaments

Each year the County holds a number of Championship Tournaments which are open to all Warwickshire archers including juniors. For details of upcoming tournaments see the What's On page

Outdoor Target

For many years the senior and junior championships were held separately but from 2010 they have been combined, and held in September. Seniors shoot the FITA rounds (Gents & Ladies) and juniors the appropriate metric rounds (Metric I-V).

Indoor Target

Ther indoor championships for both senior and junior archers are held at the end of January. In 2012 and 2013 the tournament was hosted by Quantum Archers. All archers shoot the Portsmouth round.

Field

The County Field Championships were suspended for a couple of years following the closure of the venue we had been using. Meriden hosted the shoot in 2010 and 2011 but now the event has moved to March Hare. This is a marked field course and is suitable for archers of all ages and most abilities.

Clout

The County Clout Championships are held in conjunction with the annual clout tournament held by Bowflights every September. This is a double one-way clout to GNAS rules with distances for gents, ladies and juniors. All entrants must have received clout training to be aware of the rules and scoring procedure.
